An online breakfast session on CPS ”Prediction of progressive wear in Cable Protection Systems”. There is a significant level of wear in cable protections systems of subsea power cables in windfarms quite soon after installation. Better understanding of the rooted causes is, therefore, critical for the reliability and costs of offshore wind energy. Peter Wellens, projectcoördinator at Deltares, will present the research findings and his ideas about the future of Cable Protection Systems.
